Breastfeeding Class
According to experts on infant nutrition, breastfeeding is the best nutrition a baby can get. Breastfeeding enhances the growth, development and well-being of infants and provides protection against infections. O'Bleness' international board-certified lactation consultant offers this breastfeeding class to help mothers and their babies discover the joys of breastfeeding. Registration is not required for this free class for expectant mothers.

Topics discussed in the breastfeeding class include: advantages of breastfeeding for mother and baby, anatomy of the breast, physiology of breastfeeding, preparation for breastfeeding, maintenance and management of breastfeeding, and advice for working mothers. The free class prepares expectant mothers to maintain and manage the breastfeeding process. New mothers who are seeking breastfeeding advice may contact our lactation consultant at (740) 592-9364.
