The clinical staff at O’Bleness Memorial Hospital includes a registered and licensed dietitian who is also a certified diabetes educator and has a certificate of training in childhood and adolescent weight management. A dietetic technician, registered, is also on our staff. Our dietitian and dietetic technician assess and counsel inpatients who are referred by a physician or meet certain criteria. Outpatients who have a referral from a physician may also make appointments with our registered dietitian whose office is located in the Cornwell Center near the Patient Entrance.

Counseling may include meal planning for diabetes, cholesterol lowering, sodium lowering, gluten free, weight management, medication and food interaction, or other.
