Financial Assistance & Counseling

What are some of the financial assistance programs offered at O’Bleness?

Financial assistance programs are designed to assist you if you are unable to pay all or part of your bill, whether or not you have healthcare insurance coverage. Depending on your specific financial needs, these programs may result in your having little or no obligation to pay for services provided.

OhioHealth O’Bleness Hospital has several patient financial assistance programs and funding options available to those who qualify. Some of these include:

  • discounts for insured and uninsured patients
  • hospital-sponsored payment plans
  • full or partial coverage of medically necessary services (federal HCAP, O’Bleness OCAP, and O’Bleness Sliding Scale programs)
  • alternate funding sources including:
        – Medicare and Medicaid coverage
        – other federal, state and local medical programs, foundations and grants

Am I eligible for financial assistance?

In order to determine your eligibility for financial assistance, you will be asked to provide information regarding your income as well as some other verifying data. The hospital uses income levels determined by federal guidelines when assessing your eligibility for various financial assistance programs.
