Accreditation process invites public comment
In conjunction with an accreditation process by the Joint Commission for O'Bleness Memorial Hospital, the public may participate by scheduling a public information interview with the Joint Commission field representatives. If an individual believes he or she has pertinent and valid information about the healthcare organization's quality, safety-of-care issues and the safety of the environment in which care is provided, an appointment can be made to speak with a representative.
The purpose of the Joint Commission survey is to evaluate an organization's compliance with nationally established the Joint Commission standards. These standards deal with organization quality, safety-of-care issues and the safety of the environment in which care is provided.
Requests for an interview must be made in writing.
